D&R announces an extension of its IP management software portfolio and opens a support centre on the U.S West Coast

Newark , CA and Grenoble, France -- Feb. 24, 2006 -- D&R announces a significant extension of its software portfolio, which was previously comprised of three applications (IP Provider station, IP Intranet Consumer station, IP intranet Reuse station).

Firstly, a new application, called SoC Collaborative Platform, is added to this portfolio. This combines powerful IP exchange functions with the follow-up of an SoC project. It will be demonstrated at DATE (Munich, March 6-10)

Secondly, a new release of its Provider Station is announced. Provider Station is dedicated to IP providers, for packaging, and delivering their IPs, and providing a support mechanism for their customers. It has been extended to support configurable IPs as well as IP wrapper creation based on XML scheme.

Our software offer is based on a broad portfolio of more than 200 hundreds Java functions managing IPs tagged by their so called XML File signature. It is certainly the most powerful and comprehensive market offer in this field commented Gabriele Saucier CEO and chair of D&R board

In parallel, to support the North American customers, D&R has moved its U.S office and opened a US Support Center under the responsibility of Jitu Choudhury a veteran in the IP and ASIC design services field.

Jitu Choudhury has been prior with Synopsys as a Solution Target Account manager, Avant! as U.S Sales Major Accounts manager and as consultant in Cadence Design Systems. He is also the founder of ASIC IP a company dedicated to IP design based Integration Solution. He will act as the sales representative in the Valley for D&R.
